This beautiful Victorian lamppost has been erected on the old yard and begins the transformation of this space. It was restored to it's original perfection by Chris Hewes. Hand painted in black gloss paint with its raised decoration picked out in gold. It is truly remarkable the way that his artistic skills have given new life to such a beautiful old object. The copper light fixings polished up to perfection giving a warm ambient glow in the darkness. It once stood on the Newmarket race course lighting the way for many race goers and famous jockeys.
